Our Story

Freedom Generation School began with a simple conviction: a child's future should not be decided by the circumstances into which he or she was born.

Freedom Generation's purpose is bigger than teaching children to read books and pass examinations. Academic education is essential, but we believe education should prepare a child for life. We want students to learn how to think, ask questions, communicate confidently, discover their abilities, understand their responsibilities to others, and imagine a future that may once have seemed beyond their reach.

What started in 2020 with very little — a small place to teach, limited materials, and a willingness to begin — has grown into a real school serving children in the Faisalabad area of Pakistan.

The school has not been built through abundant resources. It has grown step by step through prayer, persistence, hard work, volunteer effort, local support, and the generosity of people who believed these children deserved an opportunity.

Today the school has six classrooms and a larger hall where children learn, gather, worship, celebrate, and grow together — more than 120 students, Play Group through Grade 10, taught from the Pakistan standard curriculum with bilingual learning goals.

Christian faith is at the heart of Freedom Generation. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and want children to grow not only in knowledge, but also in character. Students regularly hear the Word of God, learn to pray, and are taught values such as love, honesty, compassion, forgiveness, responsibility, courage, and service to others.

Families matter as well. At different times the school becomes more than a classroom. Children and parents gather for prayer, worship, fellowship, and the teaching of Scripture. We want the school to strengthen families and the wider community, not isolate children from them.

Freedom Generation also faces difficult realities. Many families live under severe financial pressure. Some children are at risk of leaving school as they get older because their families need them to work. Teachers must be paid. Books and stationery must be found. Classrooms must be repaired and improved. We do not want to hide those limitations. They are part of the story.

When someone supports Freedom Generation, they are not funding an idea that may exist someday. They are helping a school where children are already sitting in classrooms, teachers are already teaching, families are already participating, and young lives are already being shaped.

Freedom Generation began small, but its vision has never been small. We want to help raise a generation of educated, capable, compassionate young people who know their value, know the Word of God, understand their responsibility to others, and possess the knowledge, character, confidence, and practical ability to build a better future.

Our name comes from the words of Jesus: “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:31–32

That is why we call it Freedom Generation.
