Building 80% Complete — What Remains
Structure, classrooms, boundary wall, plaster, gate, and now flooring are done. Here's what remains to open fully — and what it costs in Faisalabad today.
A real school in Faisalabad — Play Group to Grade 10 — more than 120 students
Freedom Generation School began with a simple conviction: a child's future should not be decided by the circumstances into which he or she was born. Since 2020 it has grown into a real school in Faisalabad — six classrooms, a hall, and more than 120 students.
How it began
What started in 2020 with very little — a small place to teach, limited materials, and a willingness to begin — has grown step by step into a functioning school. It has not been built through abundant resources. It has grown through prayer, persistence, hard work, volunteer effort, local support, and the generosity of people who believed these children deserved an opportunity. Today the school stands in Chak 007 JB Punjawar Kohala, Faisalabad: six classrooms and a larger hall where children learn, gather, worship, celebrate, and grow together.
School life today
Classrooms are full and mornings begin with assembly. Between the first bell and the last, more than 120 children — Play Group to Grade 10 — read, write, ask, and answer.
Learning and faith
Academics come first each day: the Pakistan standard curriculum, taught with bilingual goals so children build Urdu and English from the first letter. Alongside it, faith shapes character. Students hear the Word of God, learn to pray, and practice values a textbook alone cannot teach — honesty, compassion, forgiveness, responsibility, service. A Bible-based Foundation Class is in development. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and we want children to grow not only in knowledge but in character.
The hardest fact
Around age 11, some of our students stop coming. Their families live under severe financial pressure, and a child who can work is income a household may not be able to refuse. We do not hide this. It is the hardest fact about our work — and it is why finishing school, and leaving with skills, matters so much here.
Education that leads to a livelihood
A developing long-term vision: as resources and partnerships become available, Freedom Generation wants young people to gain practical skills alongside academics — so students leave not just educated, but equipped to earn an honest living.

The structure stands, the floor is finished, and 80% of the work is done. What remains is finishing: electrical, doors and windows, paint, ventilation, water, furniture, and safety.

How we teach
There are no star teachers here — there is a method. Nine teachers plan together, teach from the whiteboard into each student's own notebook, and meet as the council that governs the school. Every lesson begins with the same question: why does this matter to this child?
For parents
The 2026–2027 session runs April to March on the Punjab Education Department calendar, enriched with our own functions — School Anniversary, Independence Day, Christmas Grand Function. Play Group to Grade 10; the school day runs 8:00 to 3:00.
